Lingti Valley   Lingti Valley is a living geological museum and is the longest (60km) and largest side valley of Spiti. It is famous for shales and fossils in a geological history dating 250 million years back. The fossil findings in the place have lead to the development of many geological theories. Gaya Peak (6794m), the highest peak in Himachal Pradesh, is situated high above the northern head of the valley. The peak is the meeting point of Spiti, Ladak and Tibet.
